VALR and RainFin Launch USDPC Token Offering 10% Yield in Africa
VALR, South Africa's largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, has introduced the Garrington Capital USD Private Credit Token (USDPC) to its platform. This marks the first time such a product is available on an African exchange. The token represents an investment in Garrington Capital's private credit strategy, which targets 8-10% annual returns through senior secured, asset-backed loans in North America.
Previously limited to institutional clients, USDPC is now accessible to all VALR users via the exchange's OTC desk. The firm is also developing VALR Invest, a platform designed to streamline USDPC transactions and introduce additional financial products in the NEAR future.
"We're bridging traditional finance with crypto ecosystems," said Farzam Ehsani, VALR's Co-Founder and CEO. "This initiative reflects our commitment to democratizing access to investment opportunities that were once exclusive to select investors."
